For more than 35 years, people have trusted David and Lynn at dock 16 to provide the right parts for boats around the world.  A customer whose boat was on the hard in Turkey needed a part.  He called Dock 16 in Oakville.  The part had to be shipped from Holland but Lynn made sure it was shipped from there to the boat yard in Turkey.  There have been other stories, few as dramatic, but they all end with the right part for the boat, in the right place and in as short a time as can be.

If the part you need is not in stock at Dock 16, they have a half dozen warehouses to access from Barrie to B.C.  They’ll find the part and make sure you get it.

When you call Dock 16 they might answer the phone when they’re hanging upside down from a mast installing a light… or custom designing a lifeline system, swaging a fitting… or even selling a boat.  At Dock 16 David and Lynn take care of boat maintenance, cleaning and detailing.  They have a giant one-ton swaging machine to make sure swage fittings provide 100 per cent of the strength of the wire… plus they have their own boat brokerage.
